NIHR Symposium
26th & 27th February 2020
London, United Kingdom.
Understanding Peri-implantitis: Prevention, Aetiopathogenesis and Management. Shaping the future research agenda.
Summary
This NIHR Symposium will discuss current knowledge on the prevention, aetiopathogenesis, diagnosis and management of periimplantitis within a multidisciplinary environment. It will bring together academics, clinicians and leading experts to discuss the impact, possible research solutions and healthcare policy that influence the management of periimplantitis. Participants will gain new insights through collaborative science synergies from different attendees. The symposium will also provide a platform for trainees and early career researchers to learn from, and contribute to, the wider academic community.
The symposium incorporates a patient and public involvement forum between patients, who have been diagnosed and treated for peri-implantitis at Barts Health NHS Trust, and multidisciplinary clinical academics.
